Spring Photography Classes

It's almost time for my spring photography classes at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. I will be offering 3 classes Basic Digital Photography, Intermediate Digital Photography and Post-Capture. Basic Digital Photography
Learn the fundamentals of digital photography in this class created for beginners. If you want to further understand your "point-and-shoot" camera, this is the perfect class for you. We'll discuss features like selecting the flash option, making a short video, and choosing the best auto settings for your subject. (Please bring your digital camera to each class.)

Intermediate Digital Photography
Spark your creativity in our hands-on class geared to sharpen our photography skills. Move beyond the automatic mode and discover the advanced features of digital SLR cameras. We'll discuss aperture, shutter speeds, ISO, and white balance settings. (Please bring your digital camera to each class.)

Post-Capture Digital Photography
In this hands-on class, we'll focus on digital photography after the photographs are taken. Learn about downloading, archiving, storing, and printing options and take your photography skills to another level while learning how to enhance images with Adobe Photoshop CS3. We'll discover cropping, removing red-eye, and color enhancements. (Computer skills required.)
