Music for websites, slideshows, etc.

I have received many compliments regarding the song on my website. I loved it the first time I heard it as well. After I finished creating my blu domain website, I knew that a good song would pull everything together and create more emotion. It can be difficult for photographers to find good royalty free music. Most of the free songs out there sound computer generated and are just annoying.

My current website song is called "You're The One" by David Keen. I purchased it from Triple Scoop Music, which is a premier music licensing service built for photographers, videographers, and all other creative professionals. The royalty free music collections include Grammy and Emmy winning artists, as well as acclaimed songwriters and musicians from around the globe. I thought the price per song was crazy at first but it was well worth it. I highly recommend the site to other photographers that are looking to incorporate music into their presentation.

Why do I need royalty free music? Well, I try to set a good example. I don't want people to steal my work buy pulling photos off the web or scanning prints. I know musicians feel the same way and it is illegal to use copyright protected music on websites and slide shows.

You should also check out www.Rumblefish.com for great music from artists all over the word. All the music is pre-cleared and really high quality, non-library stuff.
